In regards to working on the cashbook (and other money rituals) is it a good idea to keep a record/journal of all of the money that comes to you or to completely forget about it and just trust that it is going to come. My husband thinks that keeping a notebook helps to reinforce that it is working but then I feel like you are always on the lookout for the money to come and it keeps the desire/lust for results on your mind. What have you found to be best?- Thanks!
Some people suggest a magickal diary is essential. I keep one, but don’t look back until at least a year has passed. So records can help, but not if you pore over them constantly.
Thanks for the article you’ve posted recently regarding how to deal with ‘Lusting for results’. What you’ve said, has rung true with the multitude and is definitely a bugbear for those who are anxious for results to appear, especially when in a state of despair and predictably, become disheartened, if the request does not appear as quickly as desired. Having said that, you still might get people still contacting you regarding how to deal with this problem.
Therefore, my thoughts and suggestion to you: Have you or the GoM considered constructing a ritual or ‘Words of Power’ sigil to remove the desire to lust for results? Is that feasible? Or is it one of those things that the requester just needs to learn? Period.
There’s no ‘cure all’ as such, but Zanna Blaise will soon publish a book that can certainly help to work on the inner aspects of the self that need to be worked on, to ease such challenges.
Hi DB
Base on the different angels power
Is it a good recommendation to do a ritual which you include the different powers? Of an angel. Like Aniel power is good friction and Create art and music can I do a ritual and include both powers when I’m writing my ritual?
It’s an option, but only if they are genuine needs. If you are working on fiction and music, you can put out both requests at once. Personally, I would prefer to do the entire ritual for fiction, and then later in the day, the entire ritual for music – and repeat both rituals evert day for 11 days. But that’s just me. You can do it all at once if you like. With magick, it’s best not to overthink – you learn more from trying rituals for a couple of months than you do from planning rituals for a couple of months.
Thanks DB. That brought a lot of clarity believe it.
