I really enjoy performing the sword banishing ritual. I’ve been doing It for a couple of months, twice a day. But something diferent has been happening over the last few days. When calling upon Yohach, the image of him I get in my head is no longer wielding two swords, but a golden bow and arrow ready to be fired. I feel there must be a reason to this, because I’ve never had any problem picturing the angel using the swords. Any ideas?
In your book you say we should let whatever image arise, but also to ensure that the angels are holding two swords. So, is It better if I force the swords back into the image or should I let him use whatever he pleases?
That’s interesting. I love it when this sort of thing happens. What I suggest is that when the amigo arises, try to put the swords in place a few more times. If they are always replaced by the other image, allow it to continue. It is worth using the established image a few more times, to ensure that this isn;t just a slip in concentration. If it is being directed by the angel, then go with it.
Hi Damon,
Love your books, they have really shown me a great insight in to the magick world. One question, in regards to magickal cash book. In the chapter “using your cash book to attract money”. You first mention imagine if you want to find 50 dollars, you write it down on the next blank page with a circle around it which is fine. Then in step 5 of the ritual you mention, after turn to the next blank page and write the amount you wish to attract and put a circle around it, and every day use the same page until you recieve the money. Now, the first blank page you mention to write on, do we carry on using that page for the second time we write in the amount? Or do we have to use another blank page for the second time we write the amount?
Thank you
Thanks very much. Great to hear that you’ve enjoyed the books.
I may well rewrite that section of the book because it seems to confuse people from time to time. The answer is on the FAQ page: http://galleryofmagick.com/damon-brand-magick-faq/
I’ll quote it here:
Q: Do I create a new circle on a new page each day, or a new circle on the same page?
A: Please re-read the chapter called Using Your Cashbook to Atract money, and follow the steps exactly as set out. Note the phrases, ‘Repeat this for several days,’ and ‘Use this same page every day.’ At the end of these steps it says, ‘Repeat every day.’ In summary, you create a new circle each day on the same page until the ritual is complete.
Hello Damon,
Cashbook question: yesterday was the first day of the ritual and today I found out about the payment which I had forgotten I was due. I’m going to be paid in two weeks. My Intuition tells me that I needn’t do the ritual for another two weeks as the Magick has worked. Am I right?
ia
I always think it’s a good idea to trust your intuition (unless you know that your intuition is often wrong, which does happen to some people). With the angelic work in Magickal Angels, I suggest that you keep going, as the magick works through both directions in time. With the Cashbook, Nitika will be satisfied so long as you have enjoyed the result. So yes, you can move on.
