No one particular ritual – there are many good people, and many questionable people, and we interact with both all the time. It’s not possible to function without encountering both. The trick is to use magick to make the situations you encounter run more smoothly. Having said that, lots of people say the Sword Banishing from Magickal Protection is a good defence against people who are less than wholesome.
I’m about to begin the first magic under extreme wealth. I’m working hard to completely change my life, I have a strong moral compass and want to make a meaningful difference in the world but so often I don’t know exactly how to channel that energy. I also love to travel and to become inspired by new experiences which is why I’m working on this magic, to have enough wealth to satisfy my quest for adventure and wisdom but to also help satisfy my urge to leave the world a better place after I’m gone. Would you recommend that I pray to a specific angel to lead me to my true calling as I work on extreme wealth or will the answers me revealed to me as I go through the different stages in extreme wealth?
Also since I’m working on the sigils digitally, I’ll just imagine I burned the sigils and scattered the ashes at a crossroads after the ritual is over? Then delete the image from my computer? Is that ok?

That approach with the sigils is fine. The alternative is just to stop thinking of them as magickal and lose interest in them gradually. I like your approach, though.
As for finding answers, the magick can open doors and offer up unexpected avenues, but it won’t tell you what to do. Even an angel can not tell you what to do, but, as you suggest, can only offer guidance or insight. The angel books can help with this, but if you’re looking for answers about yourself the best publication is The 72 Sigils of Power by Zanna Blaise. If you want to know yourself and what you’re here for, that’s the book. It can be used before you work other magick, or while you work with other magick.
I had an interesting experience with words of power that I’m still not able to understand so I’m hoping you can help me Damon.
I asked for my inner beauty to be seen before a first date, hoping we would connect on a more profound level than just the physical connection.
We had a great time talking, we connected very well. Since he drove out an hour away to see me, I agreed to let him sleep in my hotel room. As soon as we walked in though, he became extremely sexual and we had sex. I’m over that stage of these sexual flings and it made me sad to have done it. He didn’t use a condom without my knowing, I slapped him in anger feeling disrespected, we had to go to the pharmacy the next morning to get the after morning pill.
So it seems like I got the opposite of what I had hoped for. I became temperamental, our connection was strongly physical and now I’m a bit torn about what happened?
I will say I asked to release guilt and shame after, not wanting the experience to hurt me with other magic that I’m doing now which means a lot more to me.
Sorry to hear about that experience. It is clearly the opposite of what you hoped for, but magick will often work in quite a direct way. The simpler the magick, the more simple its results – not always, but often. So if you asked for your inner beauty to shine, it’s perfectly possible that it did – a different man would have responded to that in a different way. The magick was not set up to protect you, to filter out a man who might do such a thing – and so on. If you’d used more longwinded angelic magick, you might have been able to factor all these things in, but simplicity is often a good thing. When we make magick complex and put in lots of conditions it’s less likely to work – each additional condition removes possibility. The downside is that when the magick works, there’s no guarantee that it will fit into your over scheme of hope and desire. It’s the same as putting on good clothes to impress somebody. A kind person will not see it as superficial – they will see your beauty shining through your choices. Somebody else may not. So, I don’t want to say ‘the magick was blameless’ to take the focus off the magick, but it was only one factor. You made a wise, good decision, and had no way of knowing that this would be the outcome. I imagine the same would have been true without the magick. If somebody was going to respond that way, they would probably have done so even without the magick. I hope that helps.
