  1. Hi Damon,
I asked this question earlier and it seems to have disappeared into the void, so l’ll try again. In your book Magickal Angels you state some situations may call for more than one Angel’s assistance and you can use more than one, but where instructions aren’t clear as to how to do this within the context of the Calling Ritual, so the question was is it ok after calling the first Angel we can skip the whole opening part of the ritual and go straight to the Invocation, and asking Raziel to let the angel hear our voice until the request is completed and then skip back to Raziel to call the next. The second matter where your insight would be appreciated is this, you include the Shem talismans with divine names (what is the source for these talismans) and you mention pointing the number of the angel away from you, but other than charging the talisman prior to the ritual we do not sing the Divine name, can we integrate a singing of the divine name in any valuable way in this ritual. Thank you!

    1. I believe I did answer this earlier, because I recall saying that there is no need to sing the divine name, as described, but it is an option if you want to experiment. (Sometimes the ordering of these questions is a little counter intuitive, but there are several pages of them now, so it might be under Older Posts at the bottom of the page). Regarding the calling of several angels, you have a choice – you can just skip back and ask Raziel to call the next angel. My preferred method is to leave some time between each angel – performing the ritual in full, to ensure there’s enough focus on the required emotions. But if you want to try the shorter approach you can. You might want to read this first: http://galleryofmagick.com/2015/07/03/a-rush-of-occult-power/

      1. Thank you so much Damon, perhaps you did and I didn’t see it in the responses. Your answer is helpful, I feel it went successfully skipping back to Raziel but agree perhaps better to do in full, however this matter was extremely pressing and already indications it is working. I will read that link now

  2. Hi
On the 19th July I completed The Power to Heal Disease, Angel ‘Aladiah’. I have arthritis in my neck, lower back and left knee, and have had in the last six weeks a particularly unpleasant time. I have had some improvement, but there is a long way to go. Will the ‘Angel Aladiah’ still assist me until I feel much better?
    Regards
    H

    1. Glad to hear there is some improvement. As I always say with heath magick, there are no guarantees, but many people report improvements over time. For some, things don’t get worse, and that is better than nothing. It’s certainly worth expecting Aladiah to bring continual assistance. I hope things improve for you.

  3. Hi Damon,

I finished my 11 day ritual To Obtain Any Desire from the book Magical Angels. I performed this ritual because of something I really want since the beginning of this year, and have been thinking about it every single day since. Well, during these 11 days, I had the courage to ask my husband for a divorce. Although this is not the reason of my ritual, I can see how is leading the way because that’s something that I’ve been thinking about for months but lack the courage to speak up, and now “out of the blue” I did. All other things are falling into place and are “indirectly” helping to lead the way to my actual desire.
Now I’m seeking for advise. Although a divorce is right the thing for us, there’s still love (more like loving a relative.) We are both hurting, but my husband is hurting more. I have all your books and went trough everything that might help him, but I can’t think clear myself and can’t make up my mind. Is there a ritual that you could recommend for this? I will be doing the ritual for him.

    Thank you!

    1. When you perform this magick, you are guided to look at your real desires and concerns, so it’s not altogether surprising that this sort of thing can happen as you work the magick.

I’m very familiar with the situation you’re describing. I’ve seen it many times, with close friends and relatives – the divorce is inevitable, but there’s no aggression and you want to end things as painlessly as possible, but the pain is severe. To some degree, the pain is unavoidable. If your husband doesn’t experience a degree of grief and reflection then he will have ben numbed to the actual circumstances of his life. With that said, I can understand what you are trying to achieve and believe that magick can help.

You might want to try working with Elemiah. You’ll notice that The Power To Stop Mental torment can help people through a breakup. You can request that the magick is shared equally between you, or all donated to your husband. Nelekael can also help ease pain – you might want to read my most recent blog post, which points out that angels often have powers that are not immediately obvious, but which can be gleaned by a deeper reading. If you are aiming to give him inner strength, Hahahel could also help.

      Best wishes, Damon.

      1. As usual, thank you for your useful advise and wishes.

        Have a wonderful day!

      2. Hi Damon, allow me an important query many must be wondering. If you typed it elsewhere please link.

Otherwise, what is your stance concerning the incorporeal retinue? What are angels (etc) for you?
I know Lon Milo’s round about answer in saying (paraphrasing), their in your head, but you don’t realize how big your head is… It’s an ongoing debate apparently (like with Jesus, still). One can look into the origins of the word and concept… and we find rather mundane phenomena!

Not that we’re alone, but it’s safe to assume these hierarchies – hierarchies found in traditional texts – are more along the lines of thought forms (ie., cooked up). There is of course the phenomenon of the egregore which may account for whatever sensation one might experience (not to mention one’s own expectations…

…Or how the operator may have their own unbeknownst soul fragments within making them feel this stuff. This can be quite complex come to find out. A study found that most alive today have several soul fragments within. So we also need to be concerned with belief and good transitions to the other side etc. Who’d want to come back here (never mind being stuck here even if in another host)!!?

I myself consider just about everything besides one’s own mind (in ritual) as a focus aide – and nothing more. I must look into what Tibetan masters think about low magick etc. Not the ego feed but dynamics of the process itself.

        Thanks for your time, Mark

        1. I have my own beliefs, but they are probably not relevant to anybody else. I’ve seen a lion, and I believe I know what it is, but I don’t really understand its origin or purpose. The same is true of angels. Although we have discussed the theory for decades, there is no lasting agreement between us, which is why our focus remains on the practical. I know that atheists use the books successfully, which may tell you something, but it may not. Whatever their origin, I feel that spirits have consciousness and authority beyond ours, which is why they are more powerful than most spell-based magick. But it’s entirely down to your own experience.
